This policy reflects how CreatorSyncra handles data today, but it has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and may change before launch.
Privacy & Cookie Policy

The short version
- We collect what's needed to run a collaboration platform — nothing more.
- We never sell or share your data for anyone else's purposes, and we use no third-party ad trackers. Analytics are first-party and stay in our own database.
- Your contact methods are never public — they're shared only with a collaborator after you both accept, and only the ones you chose.
- Exact follower/subscriber counts are never displayed to other creators — only broad audience ranges.
- Connecting a platform (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or SoundCloud) is optional and only verifies you own it — we never store your login and can't post as you.
- You can export your data, and have your account and data permanently deleted, at any time — right from Settings.
What we collect and why
- Account data — email, password (hashed by our auth provider), date of birth (to enforce the 18+ requirement), and your acceptance of the Terms.
- Profile data you provide — display name, creator type, content focus, platforms, approximate audience size, goals, working preferences, languages, general region, timezone, bio, photo, availability, and your private collaboration boundaries. This powers recommendations and your public profile.
- Private contact methods — the handles/email you choose to share after an accepted collaboration. Stored separately, never public, never used for anything else.
- Verified platform connections — if you connect Twitch, YouTube, or Kick, the account you own and (where the platform makes it available) your audience as a band. SoundCloud is identity-only — we confirm you own the account and read no audience data. See “Connecting your platforms” below.
- Activity data — proposals, invitations, collaborations (including group chats and private 1-on-1 messages), board posts, shared links, notifications, reports/blocks, and private post-collaboration feedback. Feedback you receive is never shown to anyone (including you) — it only feeds an internal trust signal.
- First-party product analytics — events like “completed onboarding” or “sent a proposal,” with your user id and a timestamp, stored in our own database to understand what's working. Aggregated for reporting; never sold, never used for ad targeting, and no personal details are placed in the event.
- Support & feedback — messages you send us via support or the feedback box, so we can respond and improve the product.
Connecting your platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Kick & SoundCloud)
Connecting is optional. When you connect, you log in on the platform's own screen (OAuth) — we never see or store your password. We request read-only access, use it once to confirm the account is yours and (where the platform exposes it) read your follower or subscriber count, and then discard the access token. We keep only the verified result: the platform, your handle, and your audience as a band (never the raw number). Some platforms — Kick, for example — don't expose an audience count to us, so there we verify only that you own the channel. On those, you may optionally enter your follower count, which we convert to a band and store without keeping the exact number. It's clearly labelled self-reported (not verified), is reviewed by our teambefore it affects recommendations, can be changed once every 30 days, and must be honest — see our Terms. We display a verified badge and coordinate a re-check about every 30 days to keep things current. You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Connections, which deletes what we stored. We do not post, message, or act on your behalf.
Your use of Kick through CreatorSyncra is subject to the Kick Terms of Service and the Kick Privacy Policy.
SoundCloud is used only to verify your identity — we confirm you own the account and keep your handle for the verified badge. We read no follower or audience data, and this connection is never used in recommendations. Your use of SoundCloud through CreatorSyncra is subject to the SoundCloud Terms of Use and the SoundCloud Privacy Policy.
CreatorSyncra's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your use of YouTube through CreatorSyncra is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can also revoke CreatorSyncra's access to your Google account at Google security settings.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: the session cookies that keep you signed in (set by our authentication provider, Supabase). We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function, there is nothing to opt out of — block them in your browser and sign-in simply won't work.
Who processes your data
Your data lives with the infrastructure providers that run CreatorSyncra. Each processes data only to provide their service to us, under their own terms:
- Supabase — database, authentication & file storage (privacy)
- Vercel — hosting (privacy)
- Cloudflare — image storage and bot protection on our forms (privacy)
- Resend — transactional email: verification, resets, and notifications you opted into (privacy)
- Twitch, Google/YouTube, Kick & SoundCloud — only if you connect them, to verify the account you own (see “Connecting your platforms”)
We share data with no one else, except if required by law or to protect users from imminent harm.
Retention & deletion
- Your data is kept while your account is active.
- Delete your account — any time, self-serve in Settings (or email support@creatorsyncra.com). Profile, contact methods, connections, notifications, and analytics tied to you are removed; safety records (reports, enforcement) may be retained in de-identified form to protect the community.
- Export your data — a full self-serve JSON export is available in Settings.
- Platform connections — verification data is refreshed about every 30 days and deleted the moment you disconnect (or delete your account).
- Waitlist: if you're only on the waitlist, reply to any of our emails and we'll remove you.
Your choices
- Edit or remove any profile field at any time; leave contact methods empty to never share them.
- Connect or disconnect a platform whenever you like in Settings → Connections.
- Control per-type notifications (and email) in Settings → Notifications.
- Turn off “Accepting collaborations” to be hidden from recommendations; or pause your account entirely.
- Block or mute anyone; blocked users can't see you in discovery or contact you.
